Your safety and optimal results are our top priorities. Please review the following guidelines to determine if you're suitable for treatment at Beauty Boost.
Vaccinations:
If you are scheduled for any vaccinations, we recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before or after treatments such as Skin Boosters or Volumising Treatments. For immunisations, allow 4 weeks before or after your procedure.
Medications:
When booking your appointment, please inform us of any regular medications, vitamins, or supplements you are taking by completing our patient forms during your initial visit. This helps us create the best treatment plan while minimising any risks.
Dental Appointments:
Major dental work should be postponed for at least 4 weeks before or after your cosmetic treatments. Please take this into account when scheduling your appointment.
Travel Plans:
If you are planning international travel, we recommend avoiding treatments within 2 weeks of your trip. If travelling domestically, 24 hours is safe. Please inform your practitioner of any travel plans when booking your appointment.
Cold Sores:
We cannot perform treatments on clients with active cold sores.
Previous Treatments:
If you’ve had cosmetic injectables within the past 2 weeks, we advise waiting before scheduling your next appointment.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding:
Cosmetic treatments and certain skincare products (including Retinols/Vitamin A) are not suitable during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
Accutane Use:
If you are currently taking Accutane, please refrain from treatments such as PRP and Skin Needling. Medical Aesthetic treatments are generally safe, but please check with us first.
Medical Conditions:
Certain medical conditions, including autoimmune diseases and specific allergies, may make some treatments unsuitable. Please disclose all relevant medical history and allergies during your consultation, and don’t hesitate to reach out to our team with any concerns.
